Originally from Michigan and later Florida, Sharon has made her home in the Southwest, where she can often be found among the mountains, canyons and lakes of Arizona or hiking the vast Imperial Sand Dunes of the southern Arizona/California border. These places bring a spiritual impact to her work which she strives to pass on to the viewer.

Sharon is an accomplished professional photographer and digital artist who uses photos as a starting point from which to create complex digital art. She is equally at home with landscapes and Surrealistic creations, often with abstract elements, which invite the viewer to find personal meanings from within their own psyche.

"Art is that part of reality which exists only in the mind and vision of the artist."
Her work often explores the "visual tactility" of different surface textures and how form is defined by color and space by color, size and light, but it is the emotional impact of her art which she places the most emphasis upon, whether it be an ethereal representation of the Chiracahua Mountains of Arizona or a provocative Surrealist piece. She invites the viewer to experience the realms of existence which exist within themselves.
