And so it goes...

Nick Stasilli

Nick Stasilli was born in Herkimer, New York in 1980. He was raised in central New York with his two younger sisters. Nick became interested in photography when he took over his mother’s camera on the first family trip at the age of ten. Shortly after graduation from high school, Nick moved to Naples, Florida where he began to pursue his passion for photography. He traveled frequently as a child, and this explains why traveling with his camera remains his passion to this day.

Nick is a young, emerging artist who specializes in Americana, landscape/nature, and wildlife photography, and is currently working with a Nikon D80. Nick has had the privilege of photographing such locations as Oregon’s Crater Lake, Florida’s everglades, the Dominican Republic, and much of the state of California. He has photographed everything from hurricanes and their aftermath to breathtaking California sunsets to a herd of wild elk, discovered on a walk in California’s Fern Canyon.

Nick is an avid fan of all styles of art and photography, and is currently enrolled in the New York State Institute of Photography to further expand his knowledge of different techniques and styles related to the art.

Today, Nick lives in Mohawk, New York where he continues to add to his collection of images from around the country.

The essence of my photography comes from my love of nature and the outdoors. My passion is traveling to see the earth’s natural beauty, and I am fulfilled when I am able to capture what I have seen in such a way that the photograph allows me to relive the experience.

I’m privileged to have the opportunity to share my photographs with others. I think there is a certain feeling every artist has when his or her work draws emotion from the viewer of the art, and that feeling inspires me.
