Carmen Montoya Diaz Del Olmo

Self-taught artist born in Lima, Peru.

Co-founder of Medio de Arte, group that promotes the work of Peruvian artists and their different artistic expressions. Founding artists:
Carmen Montoya Diaz del Olmo  and Magali Dalmau  Diez-Canseco.

Member of The Bottega Art Workshop, directed by Lucy Angulo.

Directed a workshop aimed to introduce oil to children between 4 and 12 years, whose works received very good reviews in the contests in which they were submitted. Two of them were the second and third place in the 2008 Cultural Races, Category Kids, painting contest organized by the Regatas Lima Club in March of that year.

My artistic expression is based on the inexhaustible source of colors, movements, textures, odors and sounds that is the nature, as well as the various emotions that this  wake in  me.  My painting style is eclectic and organic.  This is a direct manifestation of my inner being.
