Budi Hudoyo

Budi Hudoyo was born in Solo, Central Java, Indonesia

His father Sutarno is batik artis. Budi learn to draw with him. Drawing with batik technique very difficult. By using hot wax as ink to draw form, for example animal, human being and plant. With this hot wax the picture have to quickly finish before wax become frost. Its habit draw with this batik technique, he become skillful in drawing.

Now Budi change over at oilcolour, although sometime still make batik painting. With oilcolour felt easier to express his ideas and imagination. And unattached of materials which quickly become frost.

In Solo, Budi is member of Council Artistry of Solo, become public relations chief in Society Artist of Solo and become daily chief in Perupa Canting. (group artist of Batik).

Woman figure become especial object in his work painting. Femininity become a kind of prayer with desire to get peacefulness, mildness, faithfulness and love. Now, the world have too masculine, so that world will loaded highness, hardness, irate and chaos.

The God open its story with Adam and  Eve then the God close its story with Marry and Yesus. Adam and of Marry are our Father, Eve and Yesus are our Mother.
